logo_celebrating1Hopkinton State Fair is a 4 day event being held from 4th September to the 7th September 2015 at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, NH. This event showcases products like needlework and quilting goods made by the local businessmen as well as displays from makers of baked and canned food, dairy products, cattle feeds, fine art goods etc. in the Agriculture & Forestry industry.

September 2 through to Labor Day, September 7. The Fair combines all of the activities of an old-fashioned country fair with plenty of variety to keep everyone in the family entertained. Children will love the colorful midway with exciting rides and train rides. The Lancaster Fair is all about agriculture: working cattle demonstrations; livestock competitions, including horse pulls, sheepdog trials, and an oxen log obstacle course; 4-H exhibits; and exhibitions of homemade crafts and fresh vegetables and flowers. There are daily grandstand shows, including a special concert by country music star Jo Dee Messina on Saturday, September 5 – all free with paid admission. It’s all about the horsepower and high-octane during the Fair’s motorized events, including a Big Rig Truck Pull and a 4 x 4 Truck Pull. There’s free parking. For more details, visit

24th Annual North Country Moose Festival

It would be wrong if the North Country Chamber of Commerce didn’t honor the largest creature of the northern NH & VT forests that draws visitors back, time and time again– the mighty moose!  Each year, the weekend before Labor Day in August we hold a series of events, full of fun, showcasing all the great things the North Country has to offer.  For 23 years now, the festival has been running strong.  Come enjoy our country festival with family entertainment, a classic car show, a growing craft fair, contests and activities for all ages in the heart of a most peaceful and beautiful destination.  The tapestry of mountains, lakes, forests and streams will take your breath away– so much that you might not want to leave!!  Paradise comes in many forms...

VENDOR REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.  If you’d like to attend as a vendor and have not signed up as of 8.15.15, you may bring an application with all the necessary attachments & payment to the festival and sign up on the spot. If approved by vendor check-in staff, you will be allowed in after other vendors, as space allows.  Please note: there is no guarantee that there will be space available that day and each space will cost $10 more. Manchester Arts Market – Aug 27, 2015

The Manchester Arts Market will launch this summer in July in conjunction with Intown Manchester’s outdoor music and movie series, which will take place in Veteran’s Park. The market will feature handcrafts and fine art.

On October 3rd at 8 Merrimac Road (Rain Date Sunday Oct. 4th), the Newton NH recreation committee will be hosting our annual town day including food, live music, kids games and fireworks.
